Doug Taylor started Taylor Educational Solutions in 2004 , as an independent dealer representative for Wisconsin Bench, in Thorpe, WI. He quickly realized that there was a personal touch missing from the school furniture and supply industry. Seven years later Taylor Educational Solutions has two offices, four employees and represents more than 20 of the best school and office manufacturers. And while the business has grown, we remain unwavering in our commitment to deliver first-class customer service, and the best quality products to suit any budget.

Doug spent more than 25 years in Sales, Sales Training and Management, most noteably in the Inspecation and Testing Industry. His expertise and familiarity with the manufacturing has assisted immensely in working with our manufacturer partners. Doug had always dreamed of owning his own business, and that dream came true in 2004, when he started Taylor Educational Solutions. Doug lives in Washington, MO with his wife of more than 30 years, Jean Taylor. Jean is the High School Librarian in the Union Missouri School District. Doug has one daughter Brianne, who joined the company in September 2008. Doug enjoys spending time at the family cabin in Northern, MN, playing with his new companion and office mascot Chance, and visiting his grandson, Jameson in Wisconsin every chance he gets.
Brianne Markin, Director of Sales and Training
Brianne joined her father in September 2008 as the Regional Account Manager for Wisconsin and Minnesota. Brianne came to TES with a background in Customer Service and Hospitality Sales and Catering. She is a graduate of University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN with a BA in English. Brianne is Married to Clint Markin, a Financial Advisor for Wells Fargo Advisors. They have one son, Jameson born in April 2008. Brianne loves spending time with her family, which also includes three cats, and a Golden Retriever mix, named Rusty. She also enjoys reading and entertaining friends and family.
